Chamber Honors Respiratory Care Director

Marilee Sage Receives 2009 Wind Beneath Our Wings Outstanding Performance Award

• Sage is Department Director for Respiratory Care Services at Rapid City Regional Hospital
• Rapid City Chamber of Commerce presented the award in early November
• Sage has worked to provide a pulmonary rehabilitation and education program for those with lung disease for more than 10 years
• She was instrumental in working with South Dakota Board of Regents and Dakota State University to develop a Respiratory Care Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science program in Rapid City
• This secured a local applicants pool for local business employing respiratory care professionals
