Regional Health - Kohl's Don't Thump Your Melon - South Dakota Hospitals & Medical Clinics

Since 1995, the Don't Thump Your Melon program has been a joint venture of the Rapid City Regional Hospital (RCRH) Foundation, Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and Kohl's Cares.

The Kohl's Don't Thump Your Melon Program provides helmets to those in need, fitting of helmets, and instruction about helmet safety.

"If even one brain injury for a child or young adult is prevented by our education, then all our efforts are worthwhile," said Shawn Powers, Project Coordinator, RCRH Foundation. "The generous donation from Kohl's Cares helps us reach more children in the Black Hills region with this important message."
