Medical Radiography Program
About Our Program
Program Description
The RCRH Medical Radiography Program (MRP) is a two-year program of academic study and clinical education in the art and science of medical radiographic imaging.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for the nationally recognized credentialing examination. Those who pass the ARRT exam in radiography are awarded the "RT(R)" for "Registered Technologist" (radiography). The RCRH MRP ARRT exam pass rate is 100% for more than 20 years.
Candidates applying for certification beginning Jan. 1, 2015, must have earned an associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree from an institution accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT. The degree does not need to be in the radiologic sciences. For more information, go to ARRT.org.
Accreditation
The RCRH MRP is a fully accredited program, as recognized and awarded by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). (JRCERT, 20 N Wacker Dr, Ste 2850, Chicago, IL 60606-3182, 312-704-5300, mail@jrcert.org)
