yn J. Powell, MS, RT(R), RVT, RDMS – Director
In 1991, Ms. Powell graduated from the Rapid City Regional Medical Radiography Program and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.
She has been a registered radiographer (RT)R with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for over 15 years; she has been a registered vascular technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography since 2004 and earned her credentials in abdominal sonography (RDMS) in 2005.
Ms. Powell completed her Master of Science Degree at the University of South Dakota in Administrative Studies in 2008.
Ms. Powell began her teaching career in 1997 with District Six Healthcare Center and Saint Vincent Hospital, both located in Billings, Montana. Her previous professional experience primarily includes ER/trauma, surgery, cat scan, and ultrasound. Ms. Powell has worked in both large and rural hospital settings.
Nan E. Bradeen, BS RT(R), (M)(QM) - Clinical/Didactic Instructor
In 1991, Ms. Bradeen graduated from the Avera McKennan Radiography Program in Sioux Falls, SD. Nan received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Saint Francis in 2006.
She has been a registered radiographer (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for over 15 years; she earned her credential in mammography (M) in 1998 and she earned her quality management credential in 2010.
Ms. Bradeen began her teaching career in 1997 with the Rapid City Regional Hospital Medical Radiography Program. Her previous professional experience primarily includes ER/trauma and surgery, in both large and rural hospital settings.
She has more than ten years of medical imaging experience. Ms. Bradeen has enjoyed teaching and plans to continue this facet of her career for many years.
Tracy A. Iversen, BS, RT(R), (M), (QM) - Clinical/Didactic Instructor
Ms. Iversen graduated from the Queen of Peace Radiography Program, Mitchell, SD in 1992 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Saint Francis in 2007.
She has been a registered radiographer (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) since 1992; she earned her credential in mammography (M) in 1994 and her quality management credential in 2008.
Ms. Iversen began her teaching career in June of 2002 with the Rapid City Regional Hospital Medical Radiography Program. Her previous professional experience primarily includes diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, and mammography, both in large and rural hospital settings.
Tracy has enjoyed the challenges of teaching and she hopes to continue her career for many years.
