Regional Health Employees Wear Jeans to Support The Lord's Cupboard
|
LEAD, SD - Regional Health employees in the Lead and Deadwood communities helped raise money for The Lord's Cupboard by wearing jeans on Dec. 2. Regional Health's Community Jeans Day Program raised $129.47 for The Lord's Cupboard, a local food bank focusing on providing food for the less fortunate.
Regional Health's Community Jeans Day Program began in November. Employees who participate by making an annual donation are allowed to wear blue jeans to work on the first Friday of every month. The donations are divided throughout 12 months, with monthly proceeds going to a different local charity in each community.
