Regional Health Employees Wear Jeans to Support Custer YMCA
|
CUSTER, SD - Regional Health employees in Custer helped earn money for the Custer YMCA by wearing jeans on March 2. Regional Health's Community Jeans Day Program raised $127.05 for the local organization that focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Regional Health's Community Jeans Day Program began last November. Since then, Regional Health employees in Custer have donated a total of $635.25 to various community programs. Employees making an annual donation are allowed to wear blue jeans to work on the first Friday of every month. The donations are divided throughout 12 months, with monthly proceeds going to a different local charity in each community.
