Regional Health Employees Wear Jeans to Support American Red Cross

CUSTER, SD - Regional Health employees in the Southern Hills helped earn money for the American Red Cross by wearing jeans August 2. The Regional Health Community Jeans Day Program raised $143.83 for the local chapter which is dedicated to providing care to those in need by helping with disaster relief, supporting America's military families, coordinating blood drives, offering health and safety courses, and responding to international disasters.

Regional Health's Community Jeans Day Program began in November 2011. Since then, Regional Health employees in the Southern Hills have donated $2,962.90 to various community programs. Employees making an annual donation are allowed to wear blue jeans to work on the first Friday of every month. The donations are divided throughout 12 months, with monthly proceeds going to a different local charity in each community.
