Walking Forward Program provides comprehensive outreach, education to our communities and facilitates screening services for breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancers. Walking Forward engages the American Indian communities to advocate cancer screening and healthy behaviors. We currently have community research representatives and cancer screening coordinators that serve all three reservation sites. They promote cancer screening through cancer education and assist the community members with appointments, follow-up and in understanding cancer screening test results.
