Support Care & Resources
Some degree of depression, anxiety, or fear is normal when patients and families are coping with cancer. These feelings range in intensity from person to person and from one day to the next. You may find that counseling helps ease these feelings. An oncology social worker is available to help patients and families manage their distress. Support groups are also available and are another option that you may find helpful. In addition, the hospital chaplain is available for spiritual support.
Regional Cancer Care Institute has a variety of resources available to patients, their families, and the community. You can explore them using the links to the left.
