Patient Navigator Program
The Patient Navigator program is a collaborative program between the American Cancer Society and the John T. Vucurevich Cancer Care Institute. Patient Navigators help patients, families, and caregivers navigate the many systems needed during the cancer journey.
Trained Patient Navigators link those dealing with cancer to needed programs and resources by providing literature on various topics of interest to cancer patients, referring patients to information and support programs, and identifying resources for financial assistance, medication needs, home health care, insurance questions, and transportation.
