Regional Rehabilitation Institute

Regional Rehabilitation Institute is a 51-bed comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation facility, which provides nursing care 365 days a year. Our inpatient unit is the only Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations accredited facility in the region. RRI also provides comprehensive outpatient services including, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as well as Pain Management, Neuropsychology, Industrial Rehabilitation and Wound Care.

The professionals at Regional Rehabilitation Institute offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to people of all ages who are recovering from an illness, injury or life-long health condition. Referrals to these services are initiated by a physician or by calling the Rehabilitation Institute at (605) 719-1100.

Regional Rehabilitation Institute is located directly south of Rapid City Regional Hospital and can be accessed from Fifth Street. It can also be accessed from Rapid City Regional Hospital through a connecting tunnel.
