Notes/FAQ
- Most lab tests performed Monday through Friday do not require and appointment. If lab tests are to be performed at hours not listed above, please call to schedule the appointment. All lab tests performed require a physicians order, which can be faxed to our facility or brought with the patient.
- A few tests may require you to fast. Typically a 12-hour fast is required, which is nothing to eat or drink, besides water, 12 hours prior to having your blood drawn. You may continue to take prescribed medications. If you have any questions, call the lab prior to your visit.
- Checking in: Stop at our admissions office to check in before coming to the lab draw area.
- Information to bring with you: 1) a photo ID; 2) insurance information; and, 3) the order from the physician requesting the test(s).
- You can contact your physician for your tests results. These results are reported within 24 hours after collection. Exceptions would be if the test was sent to another reference lab, like Mayo. Those results are usually reported within a week after collection.
