Race begins at Noon. Some traffic control is provided near the start/finish line, but walkers and runners should remain on the sidewalk.

Where to Meet: All runners and walkers will meet in Rapid City Regional Hospital's East and West auditoriums prior to the event. February Freeze 5K runners will start on Fifth Street near the Emergency entrance of Rapid City Regional Hospital. From there it's an out-back-course that follows 5th Street.

Parking: We ask that February Freeze participants park in the employee parking area to keep patient parking available for Regional Health patients.

Entrances: There are two entrances that quickly lead to the auditoriums.

What to expect pre-race:
When you reach the auditorium, help yourself to some healthy treats, coffee or water. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners, hospital staff and cardiac patients.
About 10 minutes prior to the race start time, an announcement will be made and runners/walkers will head for the starting line.

After the race:
Return to the auditorium for post race snacks and prize drawings made possible by our sponsors.

Race day weather:
2012 was 38 degrees and sunny!

It's not called February Freeze for nothing. Race day can be mild and calm or just the opposite.  Be prepared for the worst and expect the best!
