Welcome to Rapid City Regional Hospital's National Cardiac Rehabilitation Week February Freeze - 5K Fun Run/Walk! Now in it's 19th year!
Registration & Shirt Sales
T-shirt sales will be available in the lobby at Rapid City Regional Hospital from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Thursday, Feb. 9.
Registration/waiver signing will be done day of the event.
Shirt sales ($20) at the event or by visiting:

(Use the West Entrance located onthe north side
(front) of the hospital and follow the signs)
M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
LOBBY SALES: T-shirts will be available in the lobby at Rapid City Regional Hospital from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Thursday, Feb. 9.
Race day registration:
10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Sioux Park picnic shelter behind the track.
(Limited number of t-shirts available on race day)
The 5K run/walk course is from Sioux Park to Founders Park and back. The race begins on the bike path.
Race begins at Noon. Walkers and runners should remain on the bike path.
What to expect pre-race:
When you reach the picnic shelter, help yourself to some healthy treats, coffee or water. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners, hospital staff and cardiac patients.
About 10 minutes prior to the race start time, an announcement will be made and runners/walkers will head for the starting line.
After the race:
Return to the picnic shelter for post race snacks and prize drawings made possible by our sponsors.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Week
Cardiac Rehabilitation Week is a national effort by cardiac rehabilitation professionals and the patients they serve to reduce the effects of heart disease. Special events like February Freeze 5K Run/Walk are held across the country to raise awareness and celebrate cardiac patient's special accomplishments.
