Critical Care Center - Intensive Care Unit

Critical care units provide special “intensive” care for people who are very ill, badly injured, or have had a complex procedure or surgery. The goals of critical care are to help patients, recover and return to their previous - or improved - state of health.
In July, 2010, Rapid City Regional Hospital and Spearfish Regional Hospital implemented an eICU Program. eICU is a patient monitoring system which allows an additional team of experts to observe and evaluate critically ill patients in multiple ICUs and hospitals from a single location.
