Rapid City Regional Hospital earned the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission for an Advanced Primary Stroke Center in April 2009. The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Only 10% of hospitals have achieved stroke certification with The Joint Commission.
