VolunTeens and Youth Programs
The VolunTeen program is available to teens between the ages of 15 to 18 who maintain a 2.5 GPA. It provides young people an excellent volunteer experience and insights on career possibilities within the health care field. VolunTeens work four hours per week in a variety of hospital departments.

Application process
We accept applications three times per year. Students must complete an interview process, orientation, and other eligibility requirements. Your interests, talents and time available, balanced with the current needs of Rapid City Regional Hospital, determine your assignment. Scholarship opportunities are also available within the VolunTeen Program.
