Volunteer Benefits

Our volunteers give their time and talent for a number of reasons. One, of course, is that they like the good feeling they get from helping others. Many volunteer to develop job skills or to add to their resumes. Some want to meet other people. Whatever the reason, the gift of time is a valuable one for Rapid City Regional Hospital.

To show our appreciation, we do offer some formal volunteer benefits:

• A free meal or snack in our cafeteria while volunteering at the hospital.
• Flu shots provided in the fall of each year.
• A 25% discounts at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Gift Shop on your birthday.
• A Rapid City Chamber of Commerce Gold Card, good for discounts at a variety of businesses throughout Rapid City
• The hospital sponsors a number of social events every year for volunteers.
