Mission: To support innovative clinical research and provide quality clinical research services to the physicians and citizens of our local communities.

Regional Health is the only health care system in western South Dakota that serves a 38-county region. Regional Health serves residents from western South Dakota, southeastern Montana, northeastern Wyoming, southwestern North Dakota, and northwestern Nebraska.

Regional Health has made a commitment to expand its involvement in clinical drug and medical device research by establishing a separate department for research known as Regional Health Clinical Research (RHCR). This department is devoted to providing complete coordination of Phase II – Phase IV clinical research studies. We offer professionals with experience in working with clinical trials to ensure timely enrollment of patients and strict compliance with protocols and documentation.

Regional Health has more than 200 physicians representing a wide variety of medical specialties. Regional Health Clinical Research partners with physicians serving as principal investigators and subinvestigators to conduct clinical research with both inpatients and outpatients.
