Swing-Bed Program

Regional Health's swing-bed program is designed to meet your individual rehabilitation needs, enabling you to return to home and/or work as soon as possible. The swing-bed program allows physicians to change or "swing" a patient’s level of care from "acute" to "skilled" rehabilitation while remaining in the hospital. This program is routinely considered for patients requiring short-term extended care that will assist in recovery.
