Regional Health is preparing for the possibility of Pandemic Influenza. Our Regional Hospitals in Custer, Lead-Deadwood, Rapid City, Spearfish, and Sturgis have devoted considerable time and resources to plan for such an event and are working to complete the Center for Disease Control's Business Pandemic Influenza Planning Checklist. Our plans go well beyond our Regional Hospitals, with much communication and coordination taking place between Federal, State and City government, other health care facilities within our system, businesses within our communities, as well as those we do business with throughout the country. Our plans will be revised and updated as needed.
